Things are here are growing nicely. I’ll start with the big news – we have gotten our hands on 2/3 of an acre to use as we please this season! Thanks to farmer Mark in Hampshire for helping us out. It’s a nice little piece of land, and we’ll use it to expand what we’re already doing. Our goal is to have plenty of extra goodies this year.
We have been hard at work here, getting the till going (thanks Dan), digging beds, and seeding seeding seeding. We’ve started peppers (!) – sweet and hot - as well as some flowers and herbs. Everything is coming up nicely and enjoying the warmth of the greenhouse. We have also direct-seeded some lettuce, so hopefully we’ll have fresh greens in no time.Read more news at This week at Trogg's Hollow.
